SSR400 Honeycomb Slot Machining Sample


Worksample Overview:
In this worksample, NS TOOL’s “SSR400 CBN 4-Flute Long Neck Corner Radius End Mill” was used to machine a honeycomb-shaped slot on hardened steel PD613 (58 HRC).Thanks to SSR400’s 4-flute design and highly rigid cutting-edge geometry, the tool achieves high-efficiency machining with increased feed while maintaining the precision typically required for CBN end mills.As a result, it achieves a depth of cut comparable to carbide end mills while maintaining excellent machining accuracy.
